High school physics knowledge tells us that metal is malleable, so aluminum alloy wheels will also be out of round. In addition to the high hardness of aluminum alloy, it is difficult to repair by hammering, so it can only be repaired by turning. Turning the wheel hub will make the wheel hub thinner, unable to withstand strong impact, and it is easy to break when encountering potholes, which poses a safety hazard.
There are relatively mature technologies for repairing out-of-round aluminum alloy tires in foreign countries. They use heating to re-place the wheels in the mold to restore them, but it is currently understood that China has not introduced such technologies. Therefore, whether it is an iron wheel or an aluminum alloy wheel, it is not recommended to repair it if it has been out of round, because there will still be safety hazards after the repair.
